One Converter for Every Common Format

A website wants JPG, a design tool wants PNG and your phone saved a WebP or AVIF. Drop the images here, pick the target format and download the converted files, one by one or all together as a ZIP.

  • Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and any other format your browser can display.
  • Output: PNG (lossless, keeps transparency), JPG (small, no transparency), WebP and, if your browser can create it, AVIF.
  • Quality: For JPG, WebP and AVIF, a slider trades file size against image quality.
  • Transparency: When converting to JPG, choose the color that fills transparent areas (white by default).
  • Batch: Up to 30 images at once, downloaded as a single ZIP file.

Why use this tool?

Private by Design

Images are decoded and re-encoded by your browser's own canvas. Nothing is uploaded, so personal photos and screenshots stay on your device.

Which Format Should I Pick?

PNG for screenshots, logos and graphics with sharp edges or transparency. JPG for photos that must open everywhere. WebP and AVIF for websites: they are usually much smaller than JPG at similar quality and support transparency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why is AVIF missing from the list?

The list only shows formats your browser can encode. Every browser can create PNG and JPG and modern browsers WebP, but AVIF encoding is not available in every browser yet. Opening AVIF files works wherever the browser can display them.

Q. What happens to animated GIFs?

Only the first frame is converted. The output formats here are still images.

Q. Are EXIF data and location kept?

No. The image is redrawn, so camera data such as EXIF, GPS location and embedded color profiles are not carried over to the new file.

Q. Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

Only if your browser can display HEIC, which most cannot. Use the HEIC to JPG tool for those.
